Version 1.0.12
Latest October 12, 2026A reliability release, made alongside BackendSideMon 1.5 for Windows and 1.1 for Linux. Works with BackendSideMon 1.5 and the older 1.4.
New
- Default password warning — the dashboard warns when a server still uses its default admin password
- Certificate pinning for self-signed HTTPS — a server’s certificate is remembered on first connection and a different one is refused, so the admin password can’t be intercepted on the network. Certificates Android already trusts (such as Let’s Encrypt) are unaffected; after regenerating a server’s certificate, edit and save the server to trust the new one
- Prices on the upgrade screen come from Google Play in your own currency
Fixed
- No more “Authentication failed” from signing in too often. Every screen, refresh and background alert check used to sign in separately, which BackendSideMon 1.5’s sign-in limit could refuse. Everything now shares one session per server, and a refusal is reported as “too many login attempts” rather than wrong credentials
- The server’s own error messages are shown (invalid port, unknown protocol, rule not created by BackendSideMon…) instead of “Request failed (HTTP 400)”
- Firewall changes work after the server session expires (restart, update, 24-hour limit)
- Pro subscriptions are always acknowledged, with retries — an interrupted purchase could previously be auto-refunded by Google Play. Purchases are re-checked whenever the app resumes, and “already owned” restores Pro
- Buying Pro in Settings takes effect everywhere at once, and the theme switch applies immediately
- Per-server auto-refresh actually runs, and pauses while the app is in the background
- Tapping “Load more” twice on the Security tab no longer crashes the app, and a failed load shows an error instead of “No failed login events”
- Tabs opened before the dashboard finished loading no longer stay empty
Changed
- Background alert checks only run when the device is online
