MonDesk – BackendSideMon Server Monitor for Android
Server metrics in your hand • Windows & Linux servers • Smart alerts
MonDesk is the Android companion app for BackendSideMon. Install BackendSideMon on your Windows or Linux servers, then add each server to MonDesk with its address and admin login — and see CPU, RAM, disk, network, processes, ports, connections, firewall rules and failed logins for all of them from your phone, with alerts when something needs your attention.
MonDesk needs BackendSideMon on your servers
MonDesk doesn’t collect anything itself — it connects to the BackendSideMon service running on each server and shows what it reports.
- Install BackendSideMon on each server — from the Microsoft Store on Windows, or the RPM / DEB package on Linux.
- In MonDesk, tap Add Server, choose Windows or Linux, and enter the server’s address (for example
https://192.168.1.10:8443), username and password. - The server appears on your home screen with live CPU, RAM and disk — tap it for the full dashboard.

🖥️ All Your Servers, One Screen
Every BackendSideMon server you add gets a card with live CPU, RAM and disk, an online / offline indicator and a refresh button. Windows and Linux servers sit side by side. Set auto-refresh per server — 30 s, 1 m, 2 m or 5 m.
📈 Full Dashboard
Colour-coded CPU, RAM and disk bars, a resource history chart, network and disk throughput, and a summary of processes, listening ports, connections, firewall rules and failed logins.
🔍 Processes, Ports & Connections
Search the running process list, see what’s listening and on which address, and browse active connections with a TCP / UDP filter and search.
🛡️ Firewall From Your Phone
See the server’s firewall rules, add a rule (allow or block, by port, protocol or IP), and delete the rules BackendSideMon created — Windows Firewall on Windows servers, iptables on Linux.
🚨 Failed Login Watch
The Security tab lists failed sign-in attempts from the last 24 hours. The count is highlighted in red on the server’s card and dashboard, so a brute-force attempt is hard to miss.
🔔 Smart Alerts
Set per-server thresholds for CPU, RAM, disk and failed logins. MonDesk checks in the background every 15 minutes and notifies you — with a one-hour cooldown so you aren’t flooded. Tap the notification to open that server.
🔒 Secure Connections
Works with HTTPS, including self-signed certificates on private and homelab servers — the certificate is remembered on first connection and a different one is refused, so your admin password can’t be intercepted. Plain HTTP is supported too. MonDesk warns you if a server still uses its default password.
🔐 Private by Design
Server passwords are encrypted with the Android Keystore and never stored in plain text. MonDesk talks only to your servers — no analytics, no tracking, no third-party data collection.
Latest Release
